Counselling and psychotherapy offer you the time and space to explore issues that are causing you difficulty, in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.
I see counselling as a shorter-term process working, often working with a specific issue. Psychotherapy works at a greater depth to understand how underlying patterns of behaviour that you have developed in the past might be interfering with your life in the present. Through gaining this awareness you can start to make longer-lasting changes.
Building a relationship is key to our work together, so it is important for you to choose someone that you feel comfortable working with. For this reason I offer a free 30 minute session for us to meet each other and talk about the issues that are bothering you, so that we can determine if what I have to offer is suitable for you.
